The people behind DELXC MTB are brothers Leigh and Tony Oloman and their wives Helena and Justine. Leigh and Tony have been mountain biking since the late 80’s. Helena and Justine since the mid 90’s. Justine is now an avid runner.

When expecting their first child in 2005, Leigh and Helena bought their property “Raleigh Park” at Freestone with the express intention of building trails and holding races.

Four years later after the study of IMBA trailbuilding practices, the purchase of a mini excavator and other equipment, plus many hundreds of hours work, Raleigh Park has a dedicated cross-country trail of 6km circumnavigating the property built with IMBA best practice in mind.

We consider this to be Stage One of DELXC trail development. There is a clear plan for Stage Two, and an outline of Stage Three and beyond.
